Why I built this

I got a text on my honeymoon about an HVAC issue.

Not just any message - it was the second one that week. Texts on weekends, messages before dinner with friends, a notification at 6 AM before work on Monday. Sound familiar?

Every time I saw a tenant text, I felt that familiar knot in my stomach, wondering whether it was something I needed to deal with.Most of the time it wasn’t. A message about a tenant locked out (call a locksmith). A subleasing question (read the lease!). Some requests I couldn’t act on until Monday anyway."

And yet I still had to stop what I was doing - read it, think about it, and respond, even if it was just to say, “Thanks for letting me know, I’ll have someone out there on Monday.”

Those constant, rental-related interruptions aren’t just annoying - they’re exhausting. And it doesn’t have to be this way.
